Today the confirment of the silver diploma took place in the auditorium of the Technical University Graz.
The celebration was introduced by the lecture “The Nuclear Fusion Experiment Wendelstein 7-X”. It was like “Back to the Future”, a beautiful memory where the career started, the work at the Theoretical Physics Institute (= nuclear physics). At the same time it was the future, because it was presented impressively what nuclear physics has achieved meanwhile and what will be worked at in the near future.
The following celebration was like the TU is known for, content wise top-class and at the same time very personal. From each one career and successes were presented in detail. Impressive were also the proceedings at the university, current and future ones. The celebration was musically surrounded by a young saxophone-guitar-duo.
It was es wonderful celebration in the reverend auditorium of the university where everything started!
